Mine Electrification Energy

An integrated energy-supply solution offered alongside electric mining machinery — not a single product.

Mine Electrification Energy

Electrifying a mining fleet is an energy decision before it is a machine decision. A 120-tonne truck with a 528 kWh battery pack, without proportionate charging infrastructure, is simply a stationary asset.

Components of the solution

  • On-site solar generation (PV), sized to the site's irradiance and available area
  • Battery energy storage (BESS) to cover the charging peak
  • A diesel generator as back-up, not as the primary source
  • An energy management system (EMS) to schedule charging between shifts
  • Protection, switchgear and the fleet charging infrastructure

Engineering and commercial caveat

This page is a framework, not a design. The indicative figures quoted in the market for energy containers are examples only and do not replace a site-specific design. Actual PV capacity, BESS sizing and charging power must be calculated from that mine's own load profile.

Also: an energy container is a product independent of the machine manufacturer and must not be presented as a SINOTRUK-built product without official documentation.
